If we traced back to the late 1500s, it is said that one of the wives of Henry VIII had ordered a pair of leather soccer boots for recreational play. These have evolved into the soccer cleats that we see today. It wasn’t until the 19th century, when actual soccer cleats had come up to manufacturing. These however remain unnatural as we see them today. They were equipped with steel toes under heavy leather work and metal studs forged into the sole.
